The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

Group Finance

We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

Required to be part of the project team with end to end project role coverage including: 

  • Business Analysts – perform financial impact assessment if any change in requirement needs to be analyzed, read and understand system data mapping specification, close data gaps, craft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), craft change requests, review Functional Solution Designs (FSDs) to meet business requirements, etc.
  • Tester – UAT planning including formulate test strategies, conduct UAT testing including data, logic & report validation, testing via automation tools like Query Surge, Qlik Sense, OBIEE, write SQLs based on mapping specifications, write SQLs for analysis, write and execute test scripts, raise & monitor defects for resolution, re-test fixes for defects raised, support change request testing, conducting UAT walkthrough sessions with stakeholders, etc.
  • Production Implementation Support –  preparation for production deployment activities including proper handover of documents, conduct cross training sessions, prepare production configuration, parameter set-ups, etc.
  • Post Production Support – provide production support during the warranty period, including monitoring post production runs, fix production issues, raising change request, etc.
  • Team player – collaborate with stakeholders including the PMs, technology teams, business teams, finance user teams, etc.
  • Finance / accounting knowledge and good communication skills are preferred as interaction with stakeholders and internal finance users are required.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, macros, writing SQLs and is not averse to doing systems work are prerequisites.
  • Able to write SQLs
  • Conversant in Excel (pivot, vlookup, excel calculation functions, etc.) & Power Point
  • Analytical and able to handle volume data checking via Query Surge, Qlik Sense, etc.
  • Good communication abilities (written & Spoken)
