Responsibilities
The successful job holder will be responsible for leading all aspects of software development and maintenance of systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams through various phases of the project SDLC cycle to deliver high-quality software products and services to meet business success.
Scope of work would include:
- Lead the design, development and implementation of software applications using .Net Core, Frontend technologies such as Angular and Azure services.
- Manage the team in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment and maintenance.
- Manage and participate in technology evaluation, research, proof-of-concept projects to identify and recommend new technologies, tools and techniques that can enhance the development processes and deliverables
- Manage and collaborate with cross-functional team members and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, plan project schedules and deliverables
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and develop contingency plans
- Accountable for project delivery of internal team members and vendors (if any)
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of working experiences in IT application systems development, maintenance and project management with good and deep experience in designing and developing application systems with a strong focus on .Net Core and Frontend technologies
- Proven experience in designing, developing and deployment complex software applications using .Net Core, Frontend technologies and Azure services.
- Good experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Good understanding of web technologies and modern front-end framework such as Angular, React, etc
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as Azure, and knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) is a plus
- Excellent communication with good leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
