Job Description

The changing of climate pattern is an inevitable trend globally in the 21st century. It is vastly unknown how this will influence the degradation of infrastructures in Singapore, and how we should adapt our designing approach towards durability.

The duty of the Research Fellow is to conduct experiments and simulation at molecular scale to understand how the degradation, e.g. rebar corrosion will be influenced by the changing weather parameters, and to provide a tool for prediction of concrete degradation.

Job Requirements

• Possess a PhD degree in relevant fields.
• The candidate should have a solid background in concrete technology, cement chemistry and molecular simulation method.
• Has good publication track record in the above topics.
• Values teamwork
• Open to fixed-term contract
