– Develop and solicit travel trades/ corporate related business including but not limited to prospecting, negotiating, and closing the deals.
– Develop a comprehensive strategy to market through travel wholesalers, travel agents and corporate accounts to expand client portfolio.
– Develop and maintain existing clientele.
– Understand and administers the specifics of client contracts.
– Respond to and prepare proposals in a timely and professional manner.
– Possess sound knowledge of all products and services offered.
– Maintain an updated email address database in order to undertake email marketing blast initiative from time to time.
– To maintain high level of communication (skills verbal and written) while promoting the Hotel and Residences through good selling and communication skills.
– To be fully conversant with all market segment and rate plans, together with special rates and packages.
– To attend the Sales Meetings with the team to communicate results, ensuring the information is accurate at all times.
– To handle customer queries and complaints relating to the Hotel and Residence stays.
– Be knowledgeable about hotels and residences inventory, promotions, facilities, and different services offered.
– To offer site inspection of hotel/ service apartment to clients.
– To assist the General Manager when required including but not limited to online research to widen corporate portfolio, competitor pricings etc.
– To participate in Community Action Initiatives within the Hotel.
– Monitors competitors’ activities and assists in collection of marketing intelligence to share with the team.
– Aware of sales strategy and goals when selling to negotiate optimum rate for the benefit of the business.
– Sells all facets of the hotel with a view to optimizing opportunities for revenue growth.
– Monitors existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximize opportunities.
– Grows existing business and pursues all future business opportunities.
– Assesses sales data and Assists in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget.
