As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the platform, ensuring that all design and coding adhere to high standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, dynamic start-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop an IoT platform using AWS/Azure cloud components;
- Support current IoT infrastructure and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering/data science or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing web applications;
- Proficiency in Java, Python and/or other programming languages;
- Experience with IoT applications, including data processing, device management, and data management is a plus;
- Familiarity with sensors, meters, BMS systems, and SCADA systems is a plus;
- Knowledge of common IoT protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, LoRa, and BACnet is a plus;
- Familiarity with Linux, computer networks, databases, and cybersecurity;
- Excellent communication skills and a team player;
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and result-driven.
