About The Job
The C&S Engineer is responsible for liaising with Consultants to develop the structural works and support tender team to prepare technical submission.
Responsibilities
- To work with the C&S consultants to develop a structural scheme for structures and buildings
- To carry out engineering analysis to assess the structures’ stability and load to be sustained
- To prepare temporary works design for construction activities
- To prepare a technical submission and project quality plan for tender projects
- To carry out engineering design according to Eurocodes or relevant international design codes
- To prepare a submission to authorities for approval of design
- Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading roles and embrace a culture that values teamwork
- To attend project meetings with Clients and Consultants from other disciplines
- To attend site progress meetings and reply to technical queries
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in an engineering consulting company
- Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
- Competent user of relevant engineering software
- Able to interact and work with colleagues and members of other consultants at various levels
