Position Overview
The Spa Receptionist is responsible for, but not limited to booking all spa treatments, explaining services to guests, any Point Of Sales sales including retail, checking-in and checking-out all guests in a professional manner. The incumbent will take full responsibility for the tasks that is given to Spa & Fitness facility.
The Role
- Ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa.
- Courteously interact and answer all spa and hotel related questions with guests.
- Assist various demonstrations and events.
- Manage all personal training bookings for Hotel guests
- Responsible for all administrative procedures to ensure that the spa is run professionally and in accordance with Health and Safety policy.
- Print confirmation letters and pull files for the next business day.
- Organize appointment scheduling to maximize use of time and profitability whilst ensuring that the clients needs are of first importance.
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Prepare gift certificates and make pre-payment arrangements
- Keep work area clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the spa reception
Talent Profile
- Have a thorough knowledge of the spa industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office administration, Internet applications, Telephone and Opera
