In accordance of our HRD decision, the net salary we can offer is of SGD 6.000 - SGD 7.500 per month which is competitive and can be adjusted to the work capabilities that the candidate offers for our company.

SPD Scientific Pte Ltd is rapidly expanding. As part of our expansion program, we are seeking experienced and high-caliber individual in this newly created role to join us.

Reporting to the Business Entity Manager of SPD Scientific Pte Ltd, the position will develop business opportunities across the clinical range of products with the objective of achieving/exceeding the sales and profit targets for businesses set. We are looking for suitable talent to support the company’s expansion

Responsibilities:

Sales Development

  • Establish sound understanding of market (customers, competition, new technology, etc.) and key trends.
  • Analyze, set clear objectives, and develop strategies to drive business plans in Cancer Diagnostic and Medical Laboratory Equipment for market penetration and growth.
  • Manage assigned suppliers, key accounts and identify new customers.  
  • Evaluate customer needs and market competition to manage sales strategies.
  • Ability to take on and assist in launching new product lines.

Sales Maintenance

  • Monitor sales performance (target, competition, accounts, etc.)
  • Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing clients and achieving excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Regular meetings with client within Cancer Diagnostic and Medical Laboratory Equipment setting across Singapore to understand it needs and drives the solutions required.
  • Report of market trends of new & existing products in the local market 
  • Participate in sales forecasting, budgeting, and marketing activities.

Product support

  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and manage product evaluations.
  • Manage and support exhibitions, trade shows and promotion program.
  • Learn and acquire strong knowledge of product features and benefits against competitors’ products.
  • Ability to take on and promote an assigned list of brands or products to support training and education across the medical division portfolio.
  • Provide leadership guidance to the sales team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Medical Science or related studies
  • At least 5 years of relevant sales account management experience in the similar industry
  • Experience in either Clinical Diagnostics segments or Animal Cell Culture Research, Pre-Analytical Chemistry and Infectious Diseases Diagnostics, Histopathology. Biochemistry, Microbiology or Hematology and molecular laboratories would be preferred
  • Strong analytical and management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence customers at all levels
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Professional, self-motivated, focused and creative thinking
  • Driven personality with a hunger to succeed
  • Strong analytical and management skills
